Thursday

We did the North Shore. We went to Waimea Beach, had a lot of fun.

We had shrimp on the side of the road. It was really good. We drove to Laie and played at the beach, of course wanted to see the temple too. We didn't look like we should be on the temple grounds but the missionaries said we looked just fine.

When we were there a big rain storm that came through. We even had to go and find some cover. It is so nice that when they have rain it only lasts for a couple of minutes. Of course on the way home we had to stop at the Dole plantation and get some more pineapple split.

Friday

We hiked up to Diamond Head. The view was beautiful.

We also hiked to Manoa Falls. The hike was pretty. We went through a bamboo forest. The kids thought the end was a big disappointment though. Not to much of a falls.

We drove to Honolulu and walked down Waikiki beach. We were so glad that we had our nice little quiet beach at Ewa. We found some more treasures in the international market.

Last Day

The whole week was so much fun it was hard to leave. Thank you so much Tracey for taking us to Hawaii. It is truly on of our favorite vacation.

Portland

Ok so last saturday (May 3rd) I went down to Portland with Elisabeth Willis her kids and Rachael, to ask Morgan to prom. We were going to just heart attack his car and write "prom?" on it...but nothing can be that simple right? so we had to resort to plan B because it was raining of course...Wait we didn't have one. So on the way there we came up with the idea of getting the movie Cinderella and writing something cheesy like "will you be my prince?" on it...but they didn't have the movie at Target (but they had every other Disney movie there) so I ended up getting him a coloring book of Cinderella 3. (still wrote the whole something cheesy on it though...and yes they do have a 3rd one) anyways we met him when he was coming out of work at the mall and I had Rachael and Eva (Elisabeth's Daughter) be the "delivery girls" and he said yes! haha. So over all I had a wonderful time! Thanks Elisabeth for taking us, and thanks "Auntie Annette" and "Uncle Dan" (Eva corrected me a couple of times haha).

Senior Project

Becca decided to mentor Camberly for her senior project.

Doesn't she look beautiful?

Now it is her turn.

Yes I was brave enough to let her color my hair.

We had a great day together. Thanks Becca.

From Snow to Sunshine

Brett and Rachael decided to put the trampoline back up for the summer.

Snowmobiling for Spring Break

We thought we would go up in the mountains snowmobiling during spring break. Our first clue that we should have just turned around was that the parking lot was empty. We went into a ravine and lets just say it took a little while to get out.

This seemed to be the main event

The snow buddy became our friend

At least Tracey got to conquer the cabin. We did have lots of laughs too.
